Musikgarten Classes Fair Oaks Day School offers Musikgarten Classes included in the monthly tuition.  These classes are taught by a trained Montessori/Musikgarten teacher. The classes include singing, movement, dancing, simple instrumentation and listening skills.  Built around traditional children’s music and folk songs around the world, these lessons will enhance and further develop your child’s musical aptitude and listening abilities in a joyful, fun music environment. Please see details at www.Musikgarten.org Spanish Classes Another extracurricular class included with your tuition is Spanish class.  These Spanish classes are taught by a teacher trained in teaching Spanish to young children.  Children are introduced to cultures in Spanish speaking countries as well as conversational Spanish.  This is done through fun and interactive curriculum using songs, picture cards and games. Computer Classes: Computer classes in our computer lab are offered free of charge as part of our regular monthly tuition.  Through the use of early childhood computer software, students learn how to operate a mouse and the basics in using a keyboard.  All areas of study such as math skills and phonics are reinforced through the use of educational software. The educational software uses graphics and computer games to further develop the children’s concentration skills and basic skills in all subject areas.  The computer lab is a fun learning environment for students and teachers!
